- We are a vegan family. This blog is about our adventures in parenting, cooking, and our lives in general. I have two children, Athena born 5/04 and Rowan 3/07. And by the way, I think my kids are the poster children for a vegan life style. Both were vegan since conception, both were born quite healthy and continue to be so. My son was a whopping 10 lbs 9 oz, so yeah, they aren't starving!

Excellent! I see the city library system has a number of copies. I searched through the indices of a couple dozen cookbooks last night and couldn't find ponzu.
You know I really want to have/go to a Vegan Potluck. Are there any around?
Ah, I have been dreaming up ideas for a monthly vegan potluck for people with kids. We have attended a few vegan meetup events and have only met one other person with young children. I am tired to going to parties and potlucks where we can only eat what we bring or we have to freak out about every little move our kids make, you know what i mean? Let's talk!!! I can offer up my house if needed...
We could even do it at a park. Most of the vegetarian people I know are familiar with vegan cooking. If we invited them but asked them to make something vegan we could get more people.
yep, that is what I was thinking too since I know a few veg. families that are happy to eat vegan and only a few vegans.
I wonder if we should start a yahoo group or something so that we can group everyone together.
