I've won a prize, hooray for me! Cafe VegNews hosted a contest asking readers for ideas on how to use some random left over ingredients from their pantry. I had a lot of competition (2 other entries), but my answer won out.
Here is what I had to say:
"Hmm, pop the amaranth so it gets nice and roasty, and then make hemp seed butter bars with pine nuts and molasses and a few other fine ingredients you can scrounge up."
(the ingredients were molasses, hemp seed nut butter, pinenuts, and amaranth)
Now I should probably try to come up with an actual recipe using those. I'll get back to you on that!
